Sports Psychology Colloquium Talk

Colloquium talk about Sports Psychology by Anna Bomber.

Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology is a growing field focused on helping individuals optimize performance, enhance well-being, and develop mental skills across sports, academics, performing arts, and everyday performance settings. This presentation will introduce students to the foundations of the field, common areas of practice, and the role of psychological skills training in supporting athletes, teams, performers, and exercisers. Students will learn about educational pathways, applied experiences, and career opportunities within the profession through the perspective of a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) working in a graduate program and private practice. Students will have the opportunity to explore and engage in practical techniques commonly used in applied settings.
