Main Hall Forum - My Academic Hero!(Speakers)We all have and maybe also need heroes. Some of those heroes are personal - a friend, a family member. Some may be artists or athletes. But for many of us, there's also a subset of "academic heroes" - teachers, advisors, classmates, colleagues. We may see those people every day, or we may never have met them face to face. They may be writers or researchers whose work has had a profound influence on our own intellectual journeys. So who's your academic hero? At this event, we'll get answers to that question from Ameya Balsekar (Government), Cathy Kautsky (Conservatory), David McGlynn (English), Brigid Vance (History), and Terra Winston-Sage (Dean of Religious and Spiritual Life). We hope to see you there, too!
