 for a wide-ranging introduction to Yiddish music 
 including historical background, pedagogical tips, 
 style and technique. We will talk about and try 
 out multiple music forms and practices from Yiddishland 
 including: klezmer instrumental music, Yiddish 
 song, nigunim, Yiddish dance, and tkhines. Bring 
 an instrument and yourself! No experience required, 
 though certain portions may benefit from knowledge 
 of music or music theory.\n
