 Lawrence Linguistics Club (LLC) presents Dr. Miriam 
 Rodriguez-Guerra, Assistant Professor of Communication 
 Sciences and Disorders at St. Xavier University 
 specializing in speech, phonetics and phonology, 
 bilingualism, early acquisition of speech, applied 
 linguistics, and heritage languages. Professor 
 Rodriguez-Guerrea will be presenting on her work 
 at the interface of theoretical and applied linguistics. 
 Students will be provided an opportunity to see 
 how academic linguistics can be used in the "real 
 world". A short reception will follow.\n\n
