DESCRIPTION:
 In this interactive session, timed to coincide 
 with the publication of a new book by historian 
 Brigid E. Vance, we will explore the intricate 
 relationship between dreams, politics, and the 
 Chinese writing system. Brigid will invite us 
 to learn and use dream interpretation techniques 
 used by early modern Chinese scholars who countered 
 the instability of their time by compiling and 
 editing dream texts. All are welcome to come learn 
 how to interpret a dream using the early modern 
 Chinese dream interpretation "toolkit." \n
