DESCRIPTION:
 LUDWiG (Lawrence University Disability Working 
 Group) will be hosting a screening of "CODA," 
 followed by a group discussion.\n
 \n
 "CODA" is a movie about Ruby Rossi and her family. 
 Ruby, a young hearing girl who is a CODA (Child 
 of Deaf Adult) with Deaf parents and a Deaf sibling, 
 wants to become a professional musician. All of 
 the Deaf characters in "CODA" were played by Deaf 
 actors, and real sign language was used in the 
 movie. "CODA" won the 2021 Oscar for Best Picture 
 and one of the Deaf actors, Troy Kotsur, became 
 the second Deaf person to ever win an (individual) 
 Academy Award.\n
