DESCRIPTION:
 Join us for dinner with Catrina Sparkman, Black 
 theater artist, publisher, authorpreneur, and 
 Artistic Director of the Creator's Cottage. Catrina 
 will share how she connects her spiritual and 
 Black identities into her work while navigating 
 the professional landscape as a Black Christian 
 female. Dinner will be provided - limited spots 
 are available, and RSVP is required. If you are

 Catrina Sparkman is an authorpreneur of several 
 works of fiction and non-fiction, including Doing 
 Business with God, Divine Revelation for a Twitter 
 Generation, Passing Through Waters, Opening the 
 Floodgates, The Fire This Time, and Flight of 
 the Blackbird Parts I and II-just to name a few. 
 She is also the founder of IP Ministries, a non-profit 
 that serves the needs of women and children of 
 color in Wisconsin through the use of social action 
 theater, publishing, and the creative arts. She 
 is the CEO of the Ironer's Press, a boutique publishing 
 company, and the Artistic Director of The Creator's 
 Cottage-- a creative arts maker space for artists 
 and writers. She has also produced and directed 
 many experimental theatrical pieces and is the 
 author of two original stage plays and one screenplay, 
 Mother Love, The Cinderella Show, and The Gospel 
 According to Ruth.\n
