 Predictive Sales Forecasting drives decisions 
 across nearly every major industry, from retail 
 to entertainment.  MJ Holding distributes everything 
 from trading cards to toys across major retailers. 
 In this talk, IaEUR(TM)ll share how Lawrence UniversityaEUR(TM)s 
 Physics Program unexpectedly prepared me for this 
 career.  IaEUR(TM)ll cover what it was like learning 
 the craft on the fly, how forecasting methods 
 are evolving and, most importantly, which color 
 plush cat sold the best. Along the way, I will 
 highlight real forecasting challenges, lessons 
 learned, and the surprising ways quantitative 
 skills from school, good note taking, and a bit 
 of luck shaped my path.\n

 Full Bio:\n
 Bradley Bodee is a 2011 Lawrence University graduate 
 with a degree in Physics and holds a M.S. in Physics 
 from Ball State University.  He is also a Certified 
 Professional Forecaster through the Institute 
 of Business Forecasting. Over more than a decade 
 at MJ Holding, Bradley has worked across a wide 
 range of forecasting roles, from managing Yu-Gi-Oh! 
 Trading Cards to board games. In his current role 
 as Forecasting Data Scientist, he builds internal 
 tools to tackle novel forecasting challenges and 
 partners with the software company GAINSystems 
 to develop external solutions.\n\n
