"Deconvolving NMR spectra using a neural network"\n
 \n
NMR Spectroscopy is an important tool in materials
science for analyzing the structure and composition
of materials. An important process in this analysis
is the deconvolution of the spectra into individual
peaks with characteristic amplitudes and linewidths.
This process is usually performed by experts who
are experienced in NMR, but this is tedious and
time consuming. We present a method of generating
synthetic NMR spectra, specifically made for training
a machine learning model, with the capability
of making a million synthetic spectra in minutes.
Additionally, we implemented a deep neural network
incorporating modern techniques such as Long Short-Term
Memory (LSTM) layers to demonstrate feature extraction
 on the synthetic spectra.\n

 "Implementing 3D Super-Resolution Microscopy:
Bringing Advanced Biomolecular Imaging to Our
 Lab"\n
 \n
 Super-resolution microscopy has revolutionized
our ability to visualize biological structures
on the nanoscale by overcoming the diffraction
limit of light. This talk explores the implementation
 of three-dimensional (3D) super-resolution imaging
in an undergraduate laboratory using a cylindrical
lens to characterize the axial (z) localization
of fluorescent molecules. This accessible approach
can bring cutting-edge imaging into the classroom,
allowing students to explore the nanoscale world
 in three dimensions.\n\n
