Shifting to a New Focus: Using a Microscope for
 3-D Imaging \n
Although microscopes are known for observing and
 investigating small objects, modifications can
be made to utilize new forms of microscopy. For
my capstone, I constructed an electronic microscope
and modified the optical path with a cylindrical
lens. The image produced with this microscope
is warped, which allows me to determine how far
the particles are from the camera. I will be discussing
the process of construction and modification,
sharing my results, and presenting future steps
toward making three-dimensional imaging a reality
 in our undergraduate laboratory.\n\n
