The library also offers nine individual study rooms (six on fourth floor and 3 on second floor) that can be reserved for one term at a time by students. Preference is given to seniors working on honors projects and then to students whose research depends heavily on library materials.
These offices are assigned at the end of the first week of classes for each term. If you are interested in an office, fill out this online form or send a typewritten request to the library director. The request must explain why you believe a private study space will benefit your research. It must also include your name, campus address, campus telephone number, your email address, and your research topic.
If you are assigned an office, you will receive a key that allows you to lock your personal study materials in the room. Each office is equipped with a desk, 2 chairs, bookcase, and file cabinet. It also has a campus computer network connection. To activate the connection, you must contact the Information Technology Services Helpdesk.
